Who we are
Git Trending Global is @gittrendingglobal on Instagram and this site. The research, videos and guides are made with AI tools and checked before they go out. Every day we post free AI tools as short videos, plus AI news as swipeable posts. This site holds the full guides behind those posts.
How we pick what to cover
- Repos that are rising fast on GitHub Trending and GitHub search, and new AI demos people are using.
- Tools that replace a paid app or fix an everyday problem, and that a normal person can set up.
- AI news from the big labs, chip makers and courts that touches jobs, money or apps people use.
How we check facts
- Features, install steps and licenses come from the tool's own README and release page.
- Star counts come from GitHub on the day we check them.
- News needs the company's own post or two trusted outlets that reported it themselves, and we link the source next to the fact.
- Rumors and leaks are labeled RUMOR and need two independent sources.
- If we can't confirm something, we leave it out. We never invent numbers, quotes or test results.
What we never cover
Piracy, console emulators, hacking or reverse-engineering tools, leaked prompts, paywall or account bypass, deepfakes or voice cloning of others, NSFW, and repos with fake star spikes. Before we feature a repo we check it's the official one, installs from a normal source, and has no malware reports.
How we use AI
We use AI tools to help research, draft and design. Every post is checked against its sources and by a separate review step before it goes live. The narrator in our videos is an AI voice.
Money and disclosures
We have no paid posts and no affiliate links today. If we ever add them, they will be clearly labeled "Ad" or "Sponsored", and they will pass the same checks as everything else.
